Get to know Jody
I am a Reiki Master Teacher, Intuitive Connection Coach, Space Holder & Death Doula. I guide folks through personal transformation using embodied practices. I am here to walk with you on a journey of self discovery & self connection, clearing a path toward a deeper knowing of oneself. My intuition and energetic healing abilities are my superpower, when combined with 20+ years in operational & people management roles, have created a method of personal leadership support/coaching that will bring you into a deeper understanding of who you are and how truly powerful you can be. I hold space while you discover the answers that lay within, creating a container for exploration into the shadow aspects of self: to learn to see & work with them.
I lead from a deeply intuitive place and hold space as a guide on a journey of connecting back to oneself on all levels; mind, body & soul. I am a certified trauma informed coach, am grounded and possess an undeniable energy that creates a state of comfort where you can openly share and embrace your vulnerability. I will help you see and unlock your unique ability to heal, create a pathway to developing your intuition and finding your unique path through life.
I believe in the importance of identifying and examining our biases, our relationship to power & critically looking into the systems which we have always operated within in order to dismantle and create new spaces, finding a broader spectrum of healing. Embodiment, self-awareness and a willingness to face discomfort are the keys to truly understanding who you are at your core and in this work I help folks to navigate that journey to self discovery. Creating that deeper self-connection has a profound impact on our ability to navigate all relationships in our lives…at home, at work and beyond.
Story time...
Over a decade ago I made a choice, one that would see me live a life that would lift me up rather than tear me down. I was living in a big city and “had it all”, a great career, title etc, yet, something was missing. And yet I had a deep longing, a pull to be closer to home, closer to my family (both blood & chosen) and my heart desperately missed the ocean… so I sold everything I owned and headed back to Nova Scotia with nothing but my most cherished possessions and my sweet old man dog. I have never once looked back on that decision with regret. I share this story in hopes to inspire you to listen to that inner sense of knowing and to allow yourself to make a brave decision that may just change your life.
